A:  If your product is as marketable as we all hope it is then nobody can completely protect you against knock-offs. After all, imitation is the highest form of flattery, right? Filing for US Patent protection is the best course of action, but once a Patent is published it might be circumvented in some fashion. Properly managing the supply chain is another technique to managing knock-offs. A producing factory will not bite the hand that is feeding it and only considers replication when faced with unused capacity after production is moved elsewhere.
